The Rolla House
House Rules & Expectations
The Rolla House is a structured recovery residence designed to support accountability, stability, and personal responsibility. These rules are conditions of residency.
Curfew & Accountability
Residents must adhere to established curfews and sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Sunday through Thursday: 1000 pm
Friday and Saturday: 1100 pm
Wake up time is no later than 0800 am daily.
Residents must be inside the residence with lights out by these times unless they receive prior approval from house manager.
Overnight passes can be made with 72 hours’ notice.
Financial Compliance
Residents must remain current on all financial obligations; late payments can be used as grounds for eviction.
Personal Responsibilities
Residents are responsible for providing and maintaining all personal toiletries and hygiene items including laundry soap. Residents are expected to maintain personal hygiene routinely.
Appropriate Attire
Residents are expected to wear appropriate attire in all common areas of the house at all times. Clothing should be suitable for a shared living environment and respectful of other residents and staff.
Security & Personal Property
The Rolla House is not responsible for lost or stolen items. All valuables and medications must be secured in the locked locker provided. Residents are responsible for their personal property at all times. Residents will treat all property with respect including other residents’ property. Theft of any kind will result in immediate eviction and could lead to criminal charges.
Sobriety & Substance Use
The Rolla House maintains a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol and illicit drug use. Residents must submit to random drug and alcohol screenings when requested. Failure of a drug or alcohol test may result in immediate removal from the residence. Residents are responsible for payment of confirmatory drug tests if necessary.
Recovery Meeting Attendance
Residents are required to attend a minimum of five (5) recovery meetings per week. Approved meetings may include AA, NA, SMART Recovery, or other approved programs. Proof of attendance may be required.
Tobacco & Vaping Policy
Use of tobacco or vaping products is prohibited indoors at all times. Tobacco and vaping use is permitted only in designated outdoor areas as assigned by house leadership.
Pets
No pets of any type will be had by residents while residing at The Rolla House.
Cleanliness & Order
Beds must be made daily. Residents are expected to keep personal rooms and common areas clean, orderly, and tidy throughout the day. Residents are responsible for personal laundry and will wash bedding at least once weekly. Residents will be present during laundry and will promptly change laundry when complete to maintain availability for other residents.
Respect & Conduct
Residents are expected to treat others with respect at all times. Violence, threats, harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
Access & Security Codes
House door codes are confidential and must not be shared with anyone under any circumstances. Sharing door codes is considered a serious security violation.
Surveillance & Cameras
Security cameras are installed in common areas only to promote safety and accountability. Tampering with, disabling, covering, or interfering with cameras is strictly prohibited and constitutes a serious rule violation.
Weapons
No weapons of any kind are authorized on the property at any time.
Employment & Daily Structure
Residents are expected to seek or maintain employment, education, or other approved structured activities. Residents will submit at least 3 applications daily when seeking employment.
Parking
Street parking is mandatory for residents and their guests.
Guests & Privacy
Guests are permitted only with prior approval and must follow all house rules. Residents are responsible for the behavior of their guests. Guests are authorized in common areas outside of curfew hours. No overnight guests are authorized.
Move-out
Residents are required to provide a minimum of 72 hours’ notice prior to moving out. This notice allows scheduling of walk-through and proper transition planning.
Grievances
Grievances should be immediately brought to house manager for resolution.
Compliance & Enforcement
Failure to comply with house rules may result in corrective action or removal from the residence.
